General conditions of sale
These general conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between Marie Catherine le Hodey and its customers and apply to all purchases made from Marie Catherine le Hodey.
These general conditions of sale specify the conditions of order, payment and delivery of any products ordered by the customer.
ARTICLE 1: THE COMPANY
The company Marie Catherine le Hodey is an independent and individual company that offers for sale models created exclusively by Marie Catherine le Hodey. Each model is made in accordance with the personalized choices of each customer and its measures.

Article 2: Ordering process
The customer makes her choice among the models presented to her or according to her desires for the unique models. It is possible to customize the various models following the advice of Marie Catherine le Hodey. Before placing an order, the customer can obtain a free, no obligation quote. The estimate will be sent by e-mail or delivered in person. Once she has made her choice, the customer places an order with Marie Catherine le Hodey. This order includes: – a detail of the items ordered, either in the form of a sketch, or in descriptive form – the price of the items ordered
Article 3: The price
The price indicated on the order is inclusive of VAT and includes any alterations to be made to the dress. On the other hand, any significant modification requested by the customer during the process may result in a supplement which will be the subject of a new estimate. In case of disagreement on the price of these modifications, the dress will be made according to the initial order.
Article 4: The deposit
The order becomes final upon receipt of the deposit of 50% of the total amount, specified on the quotation or order form and/or upon signature of the sales contract. It should be noted that the manufacturing process only begins once the first payment has been received.
Article 5: Terms of payment
Payments are made preferably by bank transfer, or in cash according to the invoice issued by Marie Catherine le Hodey. The price is paid as follows: 50% of the price (deposit) is paid at the order 50% at delivery. The dresses are made to measure and responding to a personalized request, the partial payments are analyzed as deposits and can not be refunded in case of cancellation of the order.
Article 6: Deadlines
The deadlines set at the time of the order are binding on both Marie Catherine le Hodey and the customer. If one or the other can not honor the appointments for fitting and / or delivery, it must inform the other at least 24 hours in advance. If possible, Marie Catherine le Hodey will deliver approximately 3 weeks before the date of the ceremony. However, delivery times vary depending on the type of product ordered. Depending on the modifications requested by the customer and the various technical constraints encountered during the making, Marie Catherine le Hodey can not be held responsible for any delay in delivery as long as the delivery is made before the date of the ceremony. Such a delay does not authorize the cancellation of the order and can in no case lead to the payment of compensation for delay and / or damages by the company.
Article 7: Fitting and verification
To allow the customer to check the quality of her work, Marie Catherine le Hodey proceeds to a final fitting upon delivery. She checks with the customer the different dressing techniques and the care advice. No dispute will be possible after this examination of the product delivered.
Article 8: Force majeure
The responsibility of Marie Catherine le Hodey can not be engaged in case of force majeure and, more generally, for any event not exclusively and directly attributable to him.
The responsibility of Marie Catherine le Hodey can not be implemented if the failure to perform or delay in the execution or suspension of one of its obligations described in these GTCs stems from a case of Force Majeure.
In this regard, Force Majeure means any external, unforeseeable and irresistible event, within the meaning of Article 1148 of the Civil Code, as well as any event beyond the control of Marie Catherine le Hodey, such as external strikes, disruption of water supply and / or electricity, frost, fire, storm, flood, epidemic, interruption of transport, difficulties in the supply of raw materials, manufacturing or transport accident, without this list being exhaustive.
In case of occurrence of an event of Force Majeure, within the meaning of this clause, the execution of the services of Marie Catherine le Hodey are suspended, in whole or in part, and the deadlines for execution extended by a period equivalent to that of this event.
Article 9: Protection of personal data
The collection of customers’ personal data is necessary for the proper processing of orders and allows customers to receive information on promotional offers and events via the Internet. This information will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances. The customer has the right to access, modify, rectify and delete her personal data.
